Prsshur began as an eclectic novelty watch making brand. I began crafting watches just for the love of designing. It eventually became boring for me and I wanted more of a challenge. 

I was always naturally skilled in design, both by hand and machine. Leather working was my first “crush” when crafting watch bands and small satchels. This compelled me to explore other types of design. Handbags, adornments, painting, molding, pyrography, etc; I found peace in creating. There is a specific type of solace gained from designing, especially by hand. The concentration accompanied by vivid images in my head, I would enter into a trance, a state of meditation, where more designs, glyphs, ideas, thoughts, the colors of sound and emotion, would pour unto me. Nothing else matters. 

I eventually wanted more and began making more eclectic handbags known as minaudières. The typical looking bag, (and we all know what that is), was simply boring to me. I wanted angles, dazzle, fun, and purpose. I wanted different. 

Discovering ways to incorporate the studies that have intrigued me for so long, into each design, creates pure joy for me. Learning and designing, being able to grow with the designs and discoveries, is another expression of love for me. It feels like a gift that keeps giving. I love what I do. I love the mind that I have. I love being able to share a part of me with this world, without the feeling of oversharing, since this love is in such abundance. 

I believe that it is imperative for these designs to be done with pure materials, pure intentions, with little to no chemicals. I want no suffering in my designs, no cruelty, no foolishness, nothing that helps to make life here more difficult for another being. These are not mere handbags and adornments, these are tools, beautiful ancient technological devices, and they are required to be free of blockages for proper functioning, just as the wearer. 

This is Prsshur, ignited from the void of my deepest thoughts, forged and shaped from my hands under the guidance of my heart and soul, refined by the love of reading, research, trial, dedication, and experience. Perfected with love and presented to you.
